Saint Gabriel School partners with Taher catering to provide delicious and nutritious breakfast, hot lunches, and a la carte items available for purchase each day. Headquartered in Minnetonka, Minnesota, Taher, Inc. has maintained a matchless reputation based on standards of quality, driven by trained chefs, providing value, integrity, and customized professional services. Taher, Inc. manages a portfolio of 265 clients in a 19 state area. It is the largest private company in the country serving private and public school communities. We will provide St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic School with an exciting and nutritionally-balanced school food service program. Our lunch and a la Carte items will be prepared and served on-site by your local food service team supported by Chef Jason. We truly look forward to serving you!
Lunch Menus
Our School District, in partnership with Taher, Inc. Food Service Management Company, is committed to serving quality, nutritious meals to students and staff. Like many other school districts, restaurants, and grocery stores across the nation, Taher is experiencing supply chain issues and lack of delivery drivers. Click here for more information.
Guidelines for the 2024-2025 School Year
A la carte breakfast will be available. Students may go to the cafeteria to purchase items between 7:30-7:50 a.m. and will eat in the cafeteria.
Hot lunches will be provided by Taher through the cafeteria with the option to bring lunch from home if you choose. Students will eat in the cafeteria by grade level.
mySchoolBucks Online Payment System
We have a new online payment system for the cafeteria called mySchoolBucks. Students received a letter with their Student ID number and more information. Students will need to input this number to purchase lunch, so please begin working with your child(ren) on memorizing.
Getting Started is easy! Simply go to www.mySchoolBucks.com and register using the "Start Here" link on the right side of the page. A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provide... simply follow the link included in that email and your registration will be complete. Once you log in, you can add your child(ren) to your account.
With mySchoolBucks, you can check your balances, review transaction history and receive low balance alerts for no charge. Payments can be made online for a small convenience fee. You may also send in payments with your child, either cash or checks made out to Taher, for no charge.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
- Money for your child’s account may be submitted at any time.
- Check is preferred. If you pay by check, please put the student’s first and last name on the memo line of your check. This will help us make sure that the money gets into the correct account.
- Cash will only be accepted if it is in an envelope with the student’s name and account number.
- Credit card payments are accepted online through your mySchoolBucks account.
A receipt is available upon request.

Lunch Prices
Prices include a choice of milk or water.
Students K-5: $4.41
Students 6-8: $4.93
Adults: $4.93
Milk is available for the Kindergarten at snack time. This item is charged to the student’s lunch account. The charge for milk is $0.88.
IMPORTANT: Soft drinks, food purchased at fast food restaurants, etc. are not allowed during the lunch period.
Second Entree
Students may purchase a second entrée. We ask that students let the teacher know in the morning if they wish to purchase a second entrée. Students must have money in the account to purchase second entrees.
Free & Reduced Lunch
Free and reduced-price meals are available to students who qualify. Applications are available from the Parish Office. Please contact Pam Terwilliger. Even if you have qualified for free and reduced-price lunches in the past, you will need to fill out an application for the new school year for the free or reduced-price service to continue. There is a short grace period at the beginning of the school year. Applications may be filed at any time throughout the year. All information is kept strictly confidential.
Food Allergies
Please let us know ASAP if your student has any type of food allergies. We will mark the account so it will come up with the student’s profile. Also, the state requires a doctor’s statement to be on file. Any information you need regarding ingredients for the foods we serve is available upon request.
