Saint Gabriel School partners with Taher catering to provide delicious and nutritious breakfast, hot lunches, and a la carte items available for purchase each day. Headquartered in Minnetonka, Minnesota, Taher, Inc. has maintained a matchless reputation based on standards of quality, driven by trained chefs, providing value, integrity, and customized professional services. Taher, Inc. manages a portfolio of 265 clients in a 19 state area. It is the largest private company in the country serving private and public school communities. We will provide St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic School with an exciting and nutritionally-balanced school food service program. Our lunch and a la Carte items will be prepared and served on-site by your local foodservice team supported by Chef Jason. We truly look forward to serving you!
New Guidelines for the 2020-2021 School Year
A la carte breakfast will be available. Students may go to the cafeteria to purchase items between 7:30-7:50 a.m. and will eat in their classrooms. Items should be discarded in designated trash cans by 8:05 a.m.
Hot lunches will still be provided by Taher through the cafeteria with the option to bring lunch from home if you choose. We will still offer drinks to those students bringing their lunch from home. Boxed lunches/ a la carte items will be pre-ordered and delivered to the classrooms. Homerooms will eat together in their classroom or outside, followed by recess together.
EZ Pay Account Management
Parents are asked to sign up for a free EZpay account to manage their child’s account. You can use this account to make online payments to your child’s lunch account. You can also use this account to see your child’s purchases.
If you need the information about registering or your child’s lunch ID number, please contact the cafeteria at firstname.lastname@example.org or 502-212-4058.
- Money for your child’s account may be submitted at any time.
- Check is preferred. If you pay by check, please put the student’s first and last name on the memo line of your check. This will help us make sure that the money gets into the correct account.
- Cash will only be accepted if it is in an envelope with the student’s name and account number.
- Credit card payments are accepted online through your EZ Pay account.
A receipt is available upon request.

Children: $3.50 (not attending St. Gabriel)
Milk is available for the Kindergarten at snack time. This item is charged to the student’s lunch account. The charge for milk is $0.50.
IMPORTANT: Soft drinks, food purchased at fast food restaurants, etc. are not allowed during the lunch period.
Students may purchase a second entrée for $2.25. We ask that students let the teacher know in the morning if they wish to purchase a second entrée. Students must have money in the account to purchase second entrees.
Free & Reduced Lunch
Free and reduced-price meals are available to students who qualify. Applications are available from the Parish Office. Please contact Pam Terwilliger. Even if you have qualified for free and reduced-price lunches in the past, you will need to fill out an application for the new school year for the free or reduced-price service to continue. There is a short grace period at the beginning of the school year. Applications may be filed at any time throughout the year. All information is kept strictly confidential.
Please let us know ASAP if your student has any type of food allergies. We will mark the account so it will come up with the student’s profile. Also, the state requires a doctor’s statement to be on file. Any information you need regarding ingredients for the foods we serve is available upon request.
