Saint Gabriel School is a PreK-Grade 8, coeducational, Catholic, private, parish school located in Louisville, Kentucky. Our school and parish are part of the Archdiocese of Louisville.
Our mission is to educate through the Catholic values of faith, family, tradition, and innovation empowering everyone to soar with possibilities.
Faith
Saint Gabriel School was founded by the Sisters of Nazareth in 1956 to help serve the growing population of Catholic families in the area. We believe that creating a foundation of faith in all that we do is of the utmost importance.
Family
The Saint Gabriel School experience encompasses the whole family. Family members are invited to participate in special events throughout the year including Grandparents Day, class parties, pep rallies, school masses, service learning experiences, sacraments, PTSO events, and more.
Tradition
Our community is rich in tradition that instills in our students a sense of pride that far surpasses graduation. Our Catholic tradition guides us in all that we do. We are proud that many of our students are legacies, and our families want to continue the tradition in their own families.
Innovation
While we have a strong foundation in tradition, we strive to provide an outstanding educational experience for our students. Our teachers and staff are committed to using brain research, 21st century skills, personalized learning, authentic assessment, and technology to guide future instruction.
